Story behind the song
I got tired of hearing pastors and church leaders coercing people to tithe. This OT practice was nothing like the tithe promoted by many churches today, rarely involved money, and was NOT practiced in the ~30 year history of the NT church! Scriptural references for this song include (Matthew 23, 2 Peter 2:3, 2 Corinthians 9:7, Malachi 3).
